Minot State’s Cory Carignan looked like he was in serious trouble after muffing a kick return last night. He scrambled to recover the dropped ball with an army of Minnesota-Duluth players bearing down on him.
Instead of ending in disaster, it’s a play some are calling “the highlight of the year” as Carignan scrambled and sprinted 104-yards to score. Of course, his teammates helped out with some big time blocks.
Sadly for the Minot Beavers, that was their one and only touchdown of the evening as Minnesota-Duluth romped to a 52-7 victory.
